Here's a tale from horse-and-buggy days!
Amid the hazy crimson entourage;
underneath amethyst n' aquamarine skies...
Far afield was a jeweled castle, as if in Victorian age.!.!


There lived a dainty little princess;

Forevermore doleful in her elephantine silver cage...
Hold on! This could be one of your life chronicles,
n' not just another long-buried anecdotage.!.!


The princess was in pursuit of something;
wind-blown n' spent, musing along all day...
Untangling her messy golden tresses;
mirrored her world full of shades all grey.!.!


The crybaby was chasing the other perfect song!
Having suffered a strange quirk of fate;
fallen between cracks, coping with limerance...
Such disdain n' animosity how could she tolerate.!.!


In a fleeting moment of one restless day;
she rescues herself from her crown with solitaire...
To mourn over her lifelong wounds,
she evolved into the Princess of Despair!!!!!

Promenading by the seaside

observing a ship sailing with the tide;

That composure which it maintains

induces a feeling in me I so disdain;

Suppressing it trying to chide,

all I wanna know is why you lied...

Meandering through the farmlands

as cool breeze ruffles up my hair strands;

Those pretty butterflies n' that aimless continuance

create a magnetic aura of influence;

Defying the emotion still tongue-tied,

I crave stronger to know why you lied...

Walking up the hill at night

staring at the stars zinc white;

The fireflies flaunting of their innocence

yet again that feeling and its omnipresence;

Oh! What an odyssey its been, Jekyll n' Hyde,

I'm hit like a ton of bricks since you lied!!!
